Skullcandy ink’d earbuds are the latest fashionable ear plugs. They make the music sound good, they even make you look good. Available in ten colors, these ear plugs are making big noise in the music market. Their speaker diameter is about 11mm and they have a frequency range of 20-20K Hz. They provide comfort to your ears and are highly sensitive with a great sound quality.

Rated the top in all the ear buds in the market right now, the midrange, bass and high end are all good. They are great if you wish to listen to music at a low volume to save battery of the player. Their sensitivity is so great you will notice things about your music which you never did before. These are more comfortable than any other brand as they have 3 different gels for fit so listening to them for long hours is quite comfortable. Whether it is a long drive or your work place these earbuds offer great sound isolation and are perfect for any situation.

Skullcandy ink’d earbuds purple are the best option for your music, your ears and even your wallet. The brand has made a name in the market because of the superior quality for the product. Some say these earbuds are great as a replacement for i-pod buds. These are any day better than headphones for the sound isolation they provide. Compared to the ear buds from creative, which cost $40, these are extremely good and value for money at $10. These should be your pick if what you are looking for is style, good sound quality and an economical price for your ear buds.

There are various colors available and black and purple are the fastest selling. Apart from using during jogging, most people never have any complaints from their skullcandy ink’d earbuds in purple or whichever other color they choose. They need a little breaking in, so best recommended to play music for about an hour and change the volume, EQ etc and soon you will have sound quality of your choice. These are the best way to enjoy your music, anytime, anywhere.

The “Hip-Hop Remixed” articles are a series of articles that displays the different elements of hip-hop from the power of an actual hip-hip remix to hip-hop being used in forms other than music, thus “remixing” the purpose of hip-hop.

It is no secret that Hip-Hop has been a conduit or political tool used by the artists that have a message to relay. The first publicly known “message” is ironically called “The Message”; by Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five. The song describes the frustrations and daily problems that African-Americans and inner city people go through every day. This song brought to light the severe sociological inequalities that has infested the inner cities of America. Since then, there has been a slew of politically and socially charged songs by various artists.

Hip-Hop is a music genre that was formed out of oppression. Hip-Hop is one of the rare music genre’s that was created without ANY live instruments, and with that beautiful note comes the point if this article…. we couldn’t afford the instruments! (Just a mic and a turntable) That is why hip-hop is the voice of the oppressed, despite it’s glamorized look of today. Now, this editorial is not one that will claim that hip-hop is dead because the socio-political side of it is not as televised as it’s glamorous side (that will be discussed in later posts, stay tuned). This editorial is to simply point out the importance of hip-hop in social and political issues to hopefully bring to life or at least grab the attention of individuals that have an opportunity to make change (which is EVERYONE!).

One of the most publicized political rappers or rap group is of course Public Enemy. Public Enemy had the capacity of making politically charged songs and pushing them into the mainstream. With the release of their second album “It takes a nation of millions to hold us back” Public Enemy would reach new heights with hit single ”Don’t Believe the Hype”. Public Enemy would continue to have success with songs like “Fight The Power”, which was the feature song on Spike Lee’s “Do the Right Thing” Major Motion Picture.

Before Public Enemy however, there was a group named “The Last Poets”, who some believe are responsible also for the creation of Hip-Hop. Whether you agree or not with that statement, there is no denying their influence in hip-hop in general and of course their influence in using art and music as a tool to voice political and social issues. “Before the White Man Came” is one of their many moving pieces, the link above will lead you to the audio on a youtube page. So you see, Hip-Hop remixed, or Hip-Hop being used in another form other than music has existed for a long time; Hip-Hop has been the genre to capitalize on the it.

Other artists who deserve the homage paid to them in this genre of Hip-Hop are listed here along with a well known piece of their own:

Immortal Technique: : “Dance With the Devil”

Prince EA: “Political Science”

Jasiri X: “Oscar Grant Tribute”

(Related) Gil Scott-Heron: “The Bottle”

Dead Prez: “Hip-Hop”

Saul Williams: “Amethyst Rock” “List of Demands (reparations)”

The Goats: “Not your typical American”

Mos Def: “The Boogie Man Song”

Check these links out and peep the difference in style but the similarity of the message.

Backpacking Canada is a lofty goal for any backpacker. Add to that the ambition to find the best rock music Canada has to offer and you’ve got yourself the road trip of a lifetime. The obvious place to start in the hunt for good rock music in Canada is Toronto. Toronto is famous for its music scene and there is no shortage of amazing concerts, music venues and music-themed bars in the city. Many famous Canadian musicians made their debut in Toronto, such as Blue Rodeo and Barenaked Ladies.

If you are planning on backpacking Toronto, here are some places to scope out the latest and greatest rock available in Canada. If you are into that singer-songwriter vibe, check out the newly renovated The Drake Hotel’s basement venue aptly known as The Drake Underground. It’s comfortable, intimate and welcoming and is locally known as the debut venue for Antony and M.I.A. The Garrison is a new venue that has hosted pay-what-you-can shows known as Wavelength on Sunday nights. You’ll hear some great indie-rock as well as some experimental stuff at the Garrison. The Horseshoe Tavern is sometimes referred to as the Legendary Horseshoe Tavern will great reason. It has been a venue for more than 60 years, lately hosting indie-rock, alt-country and singer-songwriter shows. Originally a movie theatre, Lee’s Palace has been a premier mid-sized rock club for over 20 years. It has undergone a recent renovation and boasts a high stage, good sight lines and quality sound. Lee’s Palace hosts indie-rock and alt-country acts. The Opera House was a vaudevillian theatre from the 1930’s. Today, it is one of the best venues of its size (capacity of 800), and boasts strong sound and good sightlines thanks to a multi-tiered floor and upper balcony. You will find a range of shows from indie-rock draws like Beach House and Mogwai to multi-band underground punk and metal tours at The Opera House. The Toronto music scene is alive and vibrant and these are just a small sampling of what you will discover during your trip.

Have you ever listened to the lyrics of Pinks Family Portrait? It is very disheartening; however, in modern society as it is, it is also a fact of life that happens regularly to families all across America. Spouses fighting and separating and divorce rates at an all time high. Thanks to our declining economy, most families have two working parents because that is what it takes to keep food on the table today. Where does that leave the children? Many children are neglected. Not by a lack of food or a lack of clothing, schools, or a place to live, but from the in-attendance brought on from both parents working full time jobs.

Pink family portrait lyrics explain the hardships and strains involved in the responsibility of marriage and family when the institution is left to ruin and decay rather than worked out. What imprint does the fighting and yelling between parents leave on the children? Their worlds are crushed when they find that one of their cherished parents is missing and seldom seen from then on. They learn the painful and all too often familiar lessons of love and loss, heartbreak, and abandonment. The children may think that it is their fault and unless a parent can steadfastly stand beside them, understand them, and let them know that it was no fault of theirs, doubt seeps through the cracks. This leaves them with a feeling of not just regret, but guilt. If allowed to fester, these feelings can hinder their growth as caring individuals.

A parent’s job is to lead by example. So all you parents out there need to see your children, really see them, and take notice of their inner lives and feelings and make this a better world in which for them to flourish, become whole, independent, and worthy human beings.
